SOS Mangkutana Shares: Renovation of Served Patient Homes

After training and forming the management of Friends of the Sick (SOS) Mangkutana, services were provided to patients, both at home and in hospitals. Marthina, one of the patients who suffered a fracture for 18 years, but due to a lack of family economy, so no treatment, but when she was visited and served for four months, then underwent spinal surgery in Makassar facilitated by SOS Makassar, finally got attention When SOS visited his residence, the management and members of SOS Mangkutana were moved to help renovate his house, which according to all SOS is very unfit to live in a sick condition.

This was conveyed by the Head of SOS Mangkutana, Reverend Daniel Kalu ‘S.Th told eBahana recently via his cellular. According to him, the service, driven by God’s mercy for Marthina, was continued when the patient returned to M Transana, starting from the shuttle to and from the Ilagaligo Regional Hospital, to control and therapy every Wednesday and Saturday. “Our motivation to serve Marthina patients is to love others as God has done for us, as a manifestation of our faith in the Lord Jesus and an example of seeing people with hearts moved by compassion,” he explained.

When asked about the response of Marthina’s patients, said Dalu ‘, this patient is very grateful to God, through the SOS Team as a whole, Marthina can occupy a proper bed and house for them. “We have plans for the future, we will make many more things than we have done at this time, with the hope, God will bring us together with people who are willing to reach out, burdened to help fellow God’s people, because there are other Marthina outside. there, who need our help, as long as there is still a chance to do good, do it with sincerity and loyalty, ”he hoped.
