SOS Jakarta Cares for Love for Communities Affected by Covid 19

Friends of the Sick (SOS) Jakarta, shared love with the people affected by Covid 19, including Jakarta, parts of Bekasi and Tanggerang by providing food in the form of 4000 Padang Packaged Rice from Pesona Bundo Restaurant and 500 boxed rice for 11 consecutive days, Around 400 to 500 portions of rice are distributed per day, which is coordinated by the Jakarta SOS committee. Suyono Andreas Wijaya via his cellular (23/04/20). “It’s been 11 days we shared, in the area of West Jakarta, East Jakarta North Jakarta, South Jakarta, Central Jakarta, plus parts of Bekasi and Tangerang areas, in the form of boxed food, from Pesona Bundo Jakarta restaurant, and contributions from friends,” he said. .

It was also explained, if all of this was done thanks to the cooperation of the SOS team, namely, Ps. Stefanus Wijaya, Founder of SOS Internasional, Ps. Suyono Andreas Wijaya as person in charge of SOS Jakarta, Secretary of SOS Jakarta, Pricilia Kurniawan, Pdt. Yus Simangunsong, Pdt. Jhony Wihu, Ps. Jimmy Soen, Irianty, Lineke, Yuni Hartono, Pdm. Chendra, Pdt. Lianawaty, Tjuna, Cen Cen, Pathar, Pdt. Djunaidi, Pdt. Ester Kodongan, Pdt Hendra Buana Pdt. Natan, along with other SOS volunteer teams.

Suyono said there were more than 4,000 people affected by Covid-19, which we had reached such as ojol drivers, taxis, bajaj, road cleaners, daily workers or freelance wages at the Tanjung Priok port, Shelter Homes, the Abandoned Community Hope Foundation, students and female students. Furthermore, he explained that apart from caring for love, SOS is also committed and continues to play an active role in being a friend to the sick and an intercessor for those in need, both at home and in hospitals. “SOS Jakarta together with the International SOS Network and the National Prayer Network, are building a 24 hour prayer tower to keep praying and praying for people affected by COVID 19, praying for other cities, nations and countries around the world,” he said. .
